@DiAnaUS I also go back and forth pretty frequently from NY and Orlando. It seems to be a pretty popular set up. Hopefully we can meet at an event in one of the two locations soon!

Hi @Doublepete , The events tend to be sporadic but are getting more frequent because the meet-up event tool makes it easy for anyone to create an event. Have you checked out the event @DiAnaUS is hosting this month? Here’s a link if you didn’t see it yet.

@Doublepete haven’t been to one in Orlando yet, I’m usually working during the times of the events and in Long Island, no one has created any events, there’s not enough popularity yet. I posted one event for next weekend during the morning time in Orlando, so it won’t be so hot to walk around and take pictures of downtown during the day time (I usually only go during the night). But
I really want to build Long Island Local Guides but there has been no response in the 2 months I’ve been trying to generate interest.
There are a few in NYC but I work there during the weekdays, its the last thing I want to do on my free time when I struggle with the train system, this year I’ve gotten stuck on the train for 3+ hrs several times, so you can imagine my hate for the train hahaha it’s kind of like the equivalent of someone hosting an Orlando event when you’re from Lakeland. It’s far and not exactly your area of focus as a “Local” Guide.
