Local Foodie’s Adventure and Flea Market Visit

Come experience the local culture through food, visit a local “FLEA MARKET or PASAR MALAM” (Thursdays & Fridays).

[REMOVED]

This gastronomic adventure starts from our meeting point to visiting local food eateries which are ‘less touristy’, and where the LOCALS GO. So don’t be surprised if there are no tourists as its very unlikely that tourists may spot these places. We will cover as many food eateries as we possibly can, explain some basics of food prepared, get to see and taste preparations on-site, from stirred fried wok-style to boiled to steamed, desserts like “ice kacang, Chendol” etc. Additionally, guests get to see a typical suburb within the city, local shops & housing, a ‘flea market’/ ‘pasar malam’ (night market) on Thursdays & Fridays. Flea market visits on other days, if available, can be accommodated at an extra charge for transport.
Tasting is so much more fun when there is a crowd, with everyone digging in, so come with a friend as tasting so many dishes can be overwhelming (until your stomach is at its brim), (smile).

So come, indulge, in the sights and sounds of a local foodie’s adventure that is less touristy, very Malaysian, definitely local and uniquely different.
