Anytime you come to Monterrey, Mexico, and you are really excited to find an original snack, you should visit Tortas La Purisima just behind the church. It is an amazing place to enjoy a Torta which is a piece of bread with ham, cheese and 2 or 3 pieces of avocado, served with just a napkin. It will be hard not to drop a piece of avocado while you are eating, just because its HUGE… I should better say ENORMOUS.
One of those TORTAS will make you feel full in 5 minutes and the price is just about $60 pesos which is like $3 USD.
