I would like to know what are the pros and cons for Local connect / Google Maps contributions when we move to another city while our host city is something else.
Situation 1: Change a city within a country - Eg: Hyderabad, India to Bengalure, India
Situation 2: Change a city and the country - Eg: Hyderabad, India to Paris, France
Should we change our host city and if yes, what is the recommended duration for changing the city? Should we change cities whenever we travel?

Your contributions on Google Maps and the points that you earn lead to higher levels of the program, as well as to benefits like early access to Google features and special perks from partners. This is not related to your location but you improve the map and help other Local Guides who are looking for more information about a new place they would like to visit.
If you would like to change your location, please follow the steps in this article Update your location on Google.

There is no impact to changing your city at this time except to measure how you compare against other Local Guides in your region. I would suggest leaving it as your home region unless you’re moving for a long time @ArvindYerram
