It is easy for me to be a part of this community because I am very active. At 43 years old, I have traveled, learned, had a family, and really set out to live an abundant life. When you want to do something, do it! Don’t say I’m afraid, or I can’t afford it, just do it. Tell yourself a different story; say, “I’m brave enough” and “How can I afford it!” Life is a challenge and anything worth having is uphill. God didn’t put us here to settle or be mediocre; we are hee to utilize every talent given to us. The more you use them, the more you get. The more experiences you go after, the more you will have. Learn how to do something new; take that dance class, or read that book; paint that poetry. Take vacations, staycations and daycations! Experience what the world has to offer and take someone with you.

Hello @NicoleSerra-Gonza ,
Thank you for sharing with us.
It seems you are new to Connect or writing to share a post for your Connect Live application. If you’re applying to Connect Live 2020 be sure to share a link to a new Connect post responding to this year’s application prompt. You can find everything you need to know about writing a post for Connect Live 2020 here.
Feel free to have a look at 14 helpful tips for using Connect for more information about the Local Guides program.
P.S. I will relabel your post to Local Stories as this is the place where you can write a post to inspire others to join your cause or share tips for ways people can make a difference in their local neighborhoods.
Thank you for your help,
Nicole
