"Little Quiapo," Manila's favourite local ice cream parlor

Little Quiapo Restaurant is Metro Manila’s go-to place on a hot summer day or any day if anybody is craving for the “Halo-Halo” (mixed or crush ice cream). It’s the oldest eatery in town.

It was founded by the Bartolome Family in 1949 in Quiapo District, Manila. It soon became a favourite by Manilans.

Up to now, people rave about the Special Halo-Halo here, served in a tall parfait glass with long-handled spoons, not in a bowl as some newer places do.

All these bring back fondest memories of older Filipino families celebrating numerous occasions in restaurants.Baptisms, birthdays, graduations, or even just weekend family get-togethers–these are celebrated at the family’s favorite restaurant.
