#ListsChallenge : Must-visit Museums in Mexico City

@KarenVChin & @Kwiksatik hosted a meet-up about lists and they challenged us to share a list, so here is mine:

Must-visit Museums in Mexico City

Since I was a little boy I have been interested in museums, the first time I went to a museum was during a school trip to Mexico City ( I live in another city), for me it was amazing to recognize some of the things I have seen in book illustrations so it kept my attention from the beginning .

That place was Papalote Museo del Niño, this is a science museum for kids ( but, anyone can enjoy it), and there are a ton of fun activities and kids learn a lot this way, and this place has an IMAX theatre here I fell in love with 3D (real 3D not like converted movies ) and a Dome with short films about space, this place is one of the reasons I am studying engineering.

In this list I included museums where you can learn A LOT about Mexico, you can even see the Aztec Calendar, I have to be honest with you, when I saw it I was amazed unfortunately I couldn’t find my photo, also there are museums of art such as Museo Soumaya.

I hope you like this list and if you visit Mexico City, don’t think twice to visit any of these amazing places.

Wow I can see you put a lot of effort in this list @LaloPadilla ! If you like museums you should plan a trip to Washington DC. Gosh there are so many of them over there! Now you’ve given me the idea of making a list of those, too :bulb: :grinning:

Bonita historia, buen trabajo @LaloPadilla . :grinning:

You did a fantastic job here with your list @LaloPadilla . My only suggestion would also create this list in Spanish if you have not done so already.

Mexico City is an major international cosmopolitan city with many different races and cultures living in metro area and beyond.

i have been meaning to ask — did you feel the recent earthquake? What I saw on the news was pretty scary.

Cheers,

Karen

Thanks @KarenVChin I´ll do that .

I live 50 km away from Mexico City and I felt it, a chandelier was swinging a little bit, fortunately there were no damages in Mexico City

@LaloPadilla what a great list! I love your notes on each of the museums - it will make choosing the right one so much easier!
