Lincoln Memorial - My NightMode Picture

Lincoln Memorial

I was able to take a trip to Washington DC and distract myself a little bit, scaping the daily life , and going back to a city I enjoy discovering.

This is one of the pictures I took on my trip and one I like because I was able to use a great function that the Google phones have and I love it.

Tell me what you think about it and any advice if you have some.

This was the first time I went to DC with a local guides mentality, I will be posting my pictures and making my reviews soon, though I felt it was appropriate to share it with all of you beforehand.

I want to know what @To_paul and @Austinelewex think

(The picture may look twisted because I had to compress it)

Hi @mariorosas ,

Do you live close to Washington? I bet it’s a really cool city to visit. Where is the Lincoln Statue located? Is it a museum? Tell us more about your experience there. It would be great to learn more about where to go and what to see.

Thanks!

@mariorosas I have heard that Google Pixel phones take great night shots. Which model did you use to take this shot?

@Austinelewex Yes! Very important man, he kept the union between the states and without him the US probably would not exist today. Thanks for your help and feedback. I’m glad Moderators were able to help.

I live about 5 hours and thirty minutes from Washington DC., And Yes it’s a really cool place to visit because there’s so much to see and so much happening, so much diversity as well. The Lincoln memorial is right across the famous reflection pool that is seem on Martin Luther King’s Dream speech. Right in the center of DC, close to the US Capitol, and closer to the White House.

It is not a museum it is an open place, no doors, you can see the Washington Memorial, and the reflection pool while you’re inside. It’s a beautiful view. Visiting at night is a lot better than I’d have thought.

Someone help me flip it hahaha

@Nyainurjanah hahaha counterintuitive isn’t it?, The Lincoln memorial is a very alive place. Lots of people all the time. Peaceful place, with the reflection pool across.

Thank you for calling me.

I have been late for a long time. I’m using Google Translate, so you may be confused, but please forgive me.

This is my favorite Lincoln word.

Determine that the thing can and shall be done, and then we shall find the way.

By the way, many people in Japan know Lincoln’s great achievements and quotes.
