Yes indeed the Historic Center of Lima is a beautiful place. As well as the garden and historic monuments I love the architecture of the many buildings surrounding the Historic Center as well as places like Plaza San Martin there. Do you know the name of the building in your photo? I am assuming that you are a Local Guide in Lima. Can you tell us a little more about Lima
Since you are new to Connect, for some great tips and to help you get your feet on the ground here I suggest that you should have a look at Your guide to Connect. Another good idea is to introduce yourself in the monthly Community Introduce Yourself post.
Thank you for sharing this photo with us, the building looks very beautiful! Have you ever been inside?

@AdamGT
Hi! Thank you for your interest in knowing a little more about Peru, a multicultural country that is often wasted by its own citizens.
To answer your question about the name of the building, it is the Municipality of Lima, which is the administrative body of the province of Lima; currently the mayor
of this institution is Jorge Muñoz.
Because at the end of this month Lima and regions will be in the bicentennial (200 years of independence from Peru), the Municipality of Lima together with the Peruvian
Government are carrying out various activities of all kinds, mostly cultural.
Finally, I agree with the idea about Peru and its beautiful buildings, if at some point you return to Lima I highly recommend visiting the various cultural areas (most of which are free),
the various museums in art and culture (such as the 'MUNA' ) and especially gastronomy, we are recognized for it.
Greetings
Greetings, I have not had the opportunity to enter but I have been doing some research and, apart from being our Placio municipal , the second floor of the facilities works as a municipal library.
¿Why is the data relevant to me?
Well, according to some sources, this library is one of those that has some of the most significant and oldest collections / books in the country.
In these links you will find more information about the data that I mentioned and also other libraries that protect the same mentioned characteristic.
