Light to the shades

When someone ask you which is beautiful ? The Light or The Shade. What will be you answer ?

I would say light is always beautiful even without anyone asking you to look at it. But shade is beautiful when some light is poured, that means when someone shows you at the appropriate time with the appropriate angle and it also depends on your mood and and the person who introduces you the place.

I’m from a town which is very infamous for tourism (Vavuniya) in a country famous for tourism (Sri Lanka). Which is a very hard fact to live with. Friends from your neighbor cities will always bully you asking, what we can see in your place buddy ? That question made me to search for places we can visit and enjoy and share those places with others. I’m a frequent traveler who traveled more than 10 countries in the past 7 years. That gave me an experience about the famous tourist attractions and what those are made of.

Combining both internal and international experiences I could suggest many best places which could play a vast role in Eco-tourism from the very infamous city I’m living in. Google Maps gave me a platform to play. I became the person searching for the brightness in the shade and spread among people. Wherever If I come across a place I admire, I could instantaneously share that place with thousands and thousands of people.

When I started actively in google maps, I thought sharing most famous places will get me more links and views. With time I learned it not matters when you share the information everyone knows, but when you share some information which no one knows it is much appreciated and will get more likes and views. That gave me energy to find for information people don’t know already. When I visit to place I started to edit or suggest changes if I find any.

With time I could find people from my town who have similar interest like me. Together we are splashing more and more light to the shades. And I trust if time permits can make a good collection of eco-tourism spots in our small town and surroundings.
