What does the local guides program mean to you?
Hi my name is Oscar Maroo Thambura from Kenya, I live in Nairobi, I am a sales executive. The local guides program means a lot to me because it offers me a platform to share with the world my travels and help them move around with more ease also I am able to help people through the questions they ask and the reviews I post and make the necessary corrections where I see any discrepancy, because in my line of work I travel a lot each week which I enjoy a lot.
I am able to capture moments and places through the local guides platform offered to me by the google team, which initially I didn’t have I used to post on Facebook and Instagram but it wasn’t as interactive and fulfilling as what the local guides program offers because I have a sense of belonging now through you guys. Then also my contributions are safe and ill be able to show them to my kids and other coming generations. Below are some of my precious moments from my visit to U.A.E, Dubai in 2019.
