The coronavirus has forced nearly the entire world to enter lockdown.
Taiwan is the one exception. Why is this?
Join five Connect Live ’19 attendees, and other Taiwan Local Guides, as we spend two-hours documenting what life is like in Taipei during coronavirus — through our lenses — telling stories with video and photos.
Connect Live attendees include:
-
Sophia Tsao
-
Ming-Kuang Fang
-
Ling Liu
-
Philip James
-
Phoebe Chiang
We will walk the city and take photos and video of public service campaigns, posters, thermal screening stations, temperature checks, and the cooperation of small business.
Taiwan was the first country to take precautionary measures against COVID. The public is well-informed and the government has been orchestrated in controlling the spread of the virus.
As the WHO attempted to silence Taiwan’s success in combatting the coronavirus, Google Local Guides will help share the story of success with the world — hopefully saving lives and helping other communities see preventive measures taken.
All photos and videos will be uploaded to a shared file for public viewing.
There is no cost for the meetup.
