I’m pretty busy at the moment with end of financial year work but briefly want to mention that as part of Connect’s 6th birthday celebration, I will be hosting a virtual meet-up during which we will talk about the Top 100 Local Guides leaderboards covering topics such as, what are the leaderboards, how to participate, and what are the benefits of doing so. Regarding benefits, you might like to read what @Mikeinthefalls , a Level 7 Local Guide thinks about the leaderboards in his recent post!
Whether you are new to the leaderboards or a long-standing participant, you will learn something about them, have the opportunity to ask and get answers to your questions, and virtually meet not only their creator but also many of the participants!
Being a virtual meetup means that just about any Local Guide can participate. It will be held on Wednesday July 20 at a time yet to be decided but will be added here shortly. I’ve said July 20 however as that is midweek, I’m open to running this on either July 22 or July 23. Open to discussion on this. Also, given that this is a global virtual event, I need to add that this meet-up will be in English!
Edited (9hrs after posting): I’m thinking that the best way to handle the date and time will be to invite those that have RSVP’d to nominate their preferred date and time on or after 20 July but for me this must be before 27 July and then based on responses I will lock in a date and time.
