I am a Level 9 Local Guide and a long-time contributor. Over the years, I have actively contributed a wide mix of high-quality data to Google Maps, including adding new places, updating business details, and occasionally helping to clean up spam listings when I encounter them.
For nearly a month now, I have been facing a severe issue where every single edit I submit is instantly rejected the moment I hit save. This happens even for the simplest, most undeniable edits, such as trying to add a common, highly visible local place.
The issue is strictly isolated to my specific account ID. To verify this, my friends and family members—who rarely ever use Google Maps or contribute to it—have tried submitting the exact same basic edits from their accounts. Their edits get accepted almost immediately, while my Level 9 account continues to face a blanket, instant auto-rejection.
I can still log into the Local Guides Connect forum without any issues, which indicates my account is not banned. However, it seems the automated system has placed an aggressive, false-positive algorithmic flag on my ID, dropping my internal edit trust score to zero.
I have contributed an immense amount of time and effort to make Google Maps a better utility for everyone. Can anyone help?

I’ve got the same issue as well. The last time I had an edit accepted was on 30th January. I did try to count my “Not Accepted” streak but that was easier said than done. It’s probably in the region of 100 by now. Needless to say I rarely bother to submit edits any more.
