I’m a Level 8 Local Guide, and I’ve made over 8,000 contributions to Google Maps, including adding places, editing incorrect information, writing reviews, and uploading photos/videos. Despite all of this, I’ve still not received an invitation to the Road Mapper program.
I’ve been really focused on helping improve Google Maps and making sure my contributions are of high quality, but I’m not sure what else I can do to qualify for Road Mapper access.
Here are a few questions I have: What are the specific requirements or criteria for getting invited to the Road Mapper program? Is there anything more I can do to increase my chances of getting an invite? How does Google select Local Guides for the Road Mapper program?
To provide some more context, I’m also an active participant on Local Guides Connect, having posted over 100 times and even earned the ‘Zippy Writer’ badge.
I would really appreciate any insights or tips from the community.
Thank you!
You cannot join the roadmapper program at this time. The form is closed, does not accept new entries and it is not known when it will be opened for new users.
Sorry about your situation but I don’t think your level as a local guide has any bearing on your access to Road mappers. Nor your activities here on connect. Anyway you do well to be an active local guide, thank you.
Moreso access to Road has been suspended for now. My advice will be kindly wait patiently and hope that access into the Road mappers program will be resumed sometime.
Meanwhile why not join our TRAC movement? It’s even more challenging and more interesting than the road mappers program. Moreso that counts directly on your Google maps profil please give it a try.
