Hi I am Aryan a active Level 5 local guide, I know that this program has not been made for perks but I just wanted to know if everyone in India has been facing this issue? Like I love posting on local guides anyway but some appreciation from google from time to time won’t hurt, sometimes I just can’t understand what is happening no badges no nothing I mean c’mon it’s not too hard for you guys to appreciate the people who are actively improving your maps, 5 years ago when google maps where not that accurate I have tried to imprve them since them and many others like me have been never even been appreciated , I got one perk 4 years ago and that too a redbus discount coupon, it’s really sad to see this state of such a big program I would request google to do something about it.

Mumbai and Have Actively Contributed For Last 4 Years ! I Have Got all the Badges
But No Perks Or Gifts From Google Maps
Why are They Being Partial Towards Other Countries and Discriminating With Indian Google Guides ! They Have To Do Something Fast Otherwise Indian Google Guides Will Not only Not Contribute May Even Not Use Google Maps If Other Options are There in the Market

Regarding your question: from time to time we offer Local Guides in particular regions some reward as a token of appreciation for contributing great content and helping others make the best decision, but keep in mind that there is no automatic correlation between contributing and getting a reward.
If you will be selected to receive a reward, you will be notified via email so please make sure that your email preferences have rewards emails enabled by visiting your Local Guides settings.
