My dear LGC friend,
at 7:50 I got an eMail from GoogleLocalGuide… now you join the Level 10 !!!
I am very happy and also proud because I wanted to commit myself to achieve this milestone. It has been quite a long journey that allowed me to meet wonderful people whom I hope to meet in person someday.
While waiting for the day we can meet, I would like to thank some people who have helped me grow with valuable advice and assistance.
- @ErmesT - I wanted to develop a project to give greater visibility to a National Park on Google Maps. It was the triggering moment that led me to study and read many posts here on LGC. That’s when I met Ermes. I still remember when he taught me how to use ‘Google My Maps’ and said, ‘Good job, but you could correct it by about 1 meter.’ Today, thanks to him, I purchased a 360° camera, and the project is taking shape: mapping the trails of the 'National Park of La Maddalena Archipelago. Some example of the National Parc StreetView: Messa del Cervo, Cala Serena, Monte Tejalone, Poggio Baccà and many others here. Not yet finished. Ermes, grazie.
- @JanVanHaver - When you want to learn and study, you read extensively and take note of everything, and it might happen that you come across a podcast. An incredible source of knowledge!!! “Let’s clean the map!” and you can’t accept to have a 0 in your chart!. It would be impossible to summarize his podcast in a few lines, but Google Maps is not just about photos (often unattractive and irrelevant) or reviews (unreadable). It’s much more, and he helped me understand what to do. What can I say? Put on your headphones and listen to his podcast while you walk! Grazie Jan. Ah, btw, from 0 to 5000 edits and I still need your help.
- @SholaIB -And one of the 0s to be fixed was the ‘Edit New Roads.’ What a great opportunity to join the TRAC 3K TEAM! That’s how I met Shola. 3,000 roads, 10,000, 20,000, and now 50,000. Hey @SholaIB , will we ever stop? Being an active part of the TRAC Team makes me realize how important it is to have accurate and comprehensive road mapping. Missing or incorrect roads can also cost valuable time for emergency responders. Think about it! Thanks to @SholaIB and a big thank you to the many members and new friends of the team.
- @MortenCopenhagen and his interesting lesson about how taking pictures. Unfortunately, no matter how hard I try, my photos leave something to be desired. However… one of my photos became the main picture of a shop. Ah, what a satisfaction. I owe this to @MortenCopenhagen ; thank you very much!
- and a thank to @DeniGu , @Ority and to all GM who, with their consistently engaging posts, keep our attention high and our desire to always do better. Thank you.
Grazie ancora a tutti.
Take care

Many congratulations on achieving Level 10 on Google map. This is really wonderful.
Your post is quite inspiring for many as a LG. Its not a day job, its about the passion and team work.
Experienced LGs like @ErmesT , @MortenCopenhagen , @SholaIB and googlers like @DeniGu , @Ority are the real gem who not only help LGs to remove the obstacles from their path but also lay down the bright path for the next level of learning. Thanks to all of them.

Hello @MarcoDavoli
Please excuse me for a late reply. I am busy with activities here,I know you understand well enough because you are a busy man yourself. Thanks
Now a big congratulations for job well done. Thank you for your motivational role on TRAC . You are a very amazing team member and a statistician as well. Am amazed at how busy you could be with work and life and yet make time to put together TRAC records.
Aside that it’s commendable how mindful you are about details on roads. Your expertise is exceptional as well. In all it has been a good experience working with you on TRAC campaign. I’m happy you are part of our team and a prominent member .
Now you you deserve a better accolade than these, but we will leave that for another day when we achieve our TRAC 50k target which we are very close to. Welcome to the Black badge club and the 1st level of level 10 L
L. You should organise a big party or meet up or something for this achievement
Happy guiding
Cheers

Hey @SholaIB ,
you do not had to excuse with a friend. We all are busy with our private life and work and the additional hard work that you gave us!!!

Joking aside, it was a pleasure meeting you. I am certain that, upon reaching our goal, we will encounter other challenges, or rather, new “campaign” (remember that some people don’t like challenges), through which we can contribute to GMaps and strengthen our friendship.
Thanks again.
Take care and… keep safe!!
