Leuit is a rice barn in Sundanesese Community.
Foundation made from big stone or stone cut into block shape with upper surface is litle bit smaller than the bottom, four pre production grey or brownies wooden columns, palm fiber or leacs fot roof top and wooven bambo for wall. Platform is about one meeter from land.
Wooden column and wooven bamboo have special treatment to prevent from rodent.
Some dry leaf is clipped between the colum and the bamboo wall to prevent rat to entering the barn.

In Kasepuhan, community of Sundanese with values that they strictly obey , every family should have a leuit,
A couple who get married should built new leuit for their new family.
The leuit and hao they follow the ritual procession can save rice fot more than ten years.
So if something happen with their rice field they have enough food for next periode of rice harvesting.
So the leuit become their social sustainability protection facing famine in the future.
This value of having a leuit is implemented in my community, we share food of what we have during this pandemic and Pembatasan Sosial Berskala besar (PSBB - Large scale Social Restriction), phase III. until 26 May 2020.
We use neighborhood security post near main gate to collect eggs, noodle instant, rice in one kilogram plastic bag milk in bottle, mineral water and save it on the post.
People who needed most can get it for their daily needs, because they lost their job or being lay of.
This became a daily routine, people who have more fill in the rack.
Because impact that cause death is not on;y came from the virus COVID-19 but can be from people that can get enough food, because they do not enough money to buy, or there are no stock to buy.
