The last year or so, I have been releasing podcast episodes with sometimes an interval of several months between them. And now episode 43 is there, a mere 3 weeks after episode 42. The explanation is quite easy: most of the work was not done by me. I still have done the fun parts (editing the audio, developing the concept, etc) but was abe to get a huge help for the more boring/difficult part of writing the detailed scenario.
The help came from… ChatGPT as I wanted to figure out to which extent AI can replace a podcast creator and/or podcast host - an idea I picked up from the fellow podcasters behind Planet Money. I asked ChatGPT to come up with info about the Local Guides program and then used AI-based text to speech software to read aloud most of the texts ChatGPT had come up with.
Are you curious to find out what the result is? Do you think all the info was correct or not? Find out yourself by listening to the ChatGPT episode in your preferred podcast player or on the podcast website.
In terms of info about the local guides program, experienced guides like you, @MortenCopenhagen , will not learn anything new, but still I’m curious on your thoughts about this experiment

Same @MortenCopenhagen I will listen to this tomorrow morning, except I will do it while making breakfast and going to pick up the mail. Now, I can actually get excited to wake up tomorrow instead of pressing snooze.
You were right that nothing surprised me. Two comments though:
One of the first replies implies that leaving reviews, adding photos, and making edits are special priveledges that Local Guides have. When in fact anyone with a Google account can do those things. Somehow this myth is stubborn and I think not very productive.
Secondly, I missed your thoughts on how AI can dilute our community with worthless posts on Connect and compromise the reliability of reviews on Google Maps.

I have a question: what do I have to do to change the name of an island? It’s wrong on Google Maps, the wrong name creates a lot of confusion because it’s near a top tourist attraction on another island, tourists get lost, locals get furious. Please help!
Philae island is here: 24°01′15.5″N, 32°53′22.66″E, it’s now under water.
Philae Temple is located on Agilika island. I edited the temple location, which is marked on 3 different islands, but I can’t edit the island name. I know the real situation, I spent 4 winters there. You can consult the Open Street Map, they’ve got it right. But tourists consult Google Maps and get lost.

I run a business and I can’t seem to get. my business on the google map. the name of my smoothie bar is Rascafe smoothie bar…and it is located in St. John’s Antigua.
