“Google couldn’t verify your edit” - have you ever seen that phrase? And what kind of response did it trigger within you? Frustration (or even anger) because you were really certain that the edit you submitted was absolutely correct? In that case - judging by a lot of posts both here on Connect and on social media - you are by far not the only one.

And frustration is really not needed… provided you understand the process behind the verification of your edits. I rushed through the podcast quickly to pick up some highlights.

One mention corroborates my experience. That is, edits suggested on the spot stand a bigger chance of acceptance.

BTW. The long-standing snag of the “status of edits not visible” on my profile appears to have resolved now.

Indeed @C_T the list of edits is visible again also for local guides with a high number of edits. As far as I can see from comments in posts on the topic, this seems to apply to all local guides that were impacted by the issue.

I guess this weekend might see a clear peak in submitted edits from those dedicated Maps editors :grin:
