Alright, so this is my first introduction to the whole google local guides scene. I myself enjoy beer and breweries, so I would love to do a small series of meetups at some of the local breweries in Lexington KY. Obviously got to see if anyone will meet up and not get to excessive. I treat beer as a form of enjoyment and tasting experience, not something to overdo. So I’m hoping to find some more like-minded individuals who enjoy experiencing different flavors of local brews and possibly sharing experiences and expanding on this general concept of a local tasting.
In theory, I want to try and set up a one time meet up at a location that is agreed upon by all interested parties and go from there. So If this sounds like something you would be interested in, comment below and let’s get this ball rolling!
This is a very good idea and I’m sure lot’s of Local Guides will join you in the beer walk meet-up. You can map missing breweries, add lots of reviews and photos, so people visiting your city will be able to choose their best fit place. During these meet-ups, please be sure that there is no promotional content or activity, that might be violating the Local Guides rules and Community policy.
Yes, that would be great! Let’s set up a meet up and i can help you with it. I think we can set our goal to be going to every single brewery in town in one day.
I like the energy behind what your saying. And would greatly appreciate the assistance. Though why not devote one day to one brewery? And spread out the meet ups to different places during the month? Most breweries have over 15 plus options for brews it would ne a shame to miss out on any of them. Logistics would be difficult especially if you get 5 plus people attending. There is the option of setting up meet ups during events that breweries are hosting, which is always a kicker too.
