Hello Local Guides!

I hope everybody is well in this global pandemic.

Due to COVID-19, many businesses are closed in different parts of the world and many traders are transferred from one business to another. Many have lost business and become destitute.

This sudden change worldwide for COVID-19 has similarly happened in Bhimruli. Bhimruli is a village in Jhalokati District in the Barishal Division of southwestern Bangladesh. So let’s make these changes up-to-date and adding more Business on Google Maps to helping small businesses through this Meet-up.

Bhimruli about 15 km from Jhalokati district town, has the largest Floating Guava Market in Bangladesh. The largest Guava Market in Asia have been established in the border areas of Jhalokati, Barishal and Pirijpur.

Bhimruli’s Floating Guava Market sitting in the mouth of the canal from three sides. Because of July-August guava’s fastener season, it is a suitable time to contribute in that area.

From July 23 to October 11, the whole of Bangladesh was locked down. Due to this lockdown, guava farmers could not supply their guavas properly. Our main purpose sellers can sell their guava very easily and buyers can easily find their

requirements through Google Maps.

Our Goal in this Meet-up:

  • We’ll add Business on Google Maps.
  • We’ll Check & edit the phone number of a Business.
  • We’ll add recent photos.
  • We’ll write fresh & details reviews.

Venue: Bhimruli, Jhalokati.

Date: 20 August 2021

There’s this backwaters in Kerala, Kuttanad

where most of the local business happen on small boats through the canals. This guava cultivation reminded me of that. They’re also struggling so much because of the pandemic. I Hope everything will be back to normal very soon.
