I have seen that people are reviewing someone’s business wrongly and in rude ways sometimes. In my personal opinion we should be little more polite while giving feedback to any business or place and that must be whole truth to make maps a more reliable place because million of people rely on google maps daily. If our reviews will be honest, that will be going to help more.

I think as long as it is not vulgar in language and it is truthful then it should be fine to be expressed. Some places we have horrible experiences in and the language used should reflect that ( agin not in using profanity as that just demeans you )
For sake of keeping reviews honest I would say that maybe they should have to be a certain word count as anyone could easily click one star and give no content or someone could write 3 lines that does not reflect the place at all and is made up.
I cannot agree more with you, and I want to share an experience. I travel almost every month somewhere and I live in a tiny town with an airport that offers only 3 airlines: American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines. I mostly travel with AA because between the three of them, that is the cheapest. HOWEVER, their prices are totally absurd. Anyway, in the last year, my flight from Philly to State College has been cancelled or delayed (for more than 3 hours) around 80% of the time. Sooo frustrating!!
So, one day I wrote a review and I was NOT complementary at all. Instead, I was rude. But, guess what… if you see my reviews, 99% of the time I am respectful and polite. HOWEVER, sometimes businesses do not change their policies.
Now I am planning to not travel with AA anymore because they do not do business seriously and they abuse their customers shamelessly.
In all, I SUPPORT THE MOTION!
