Hello, I see there people offer their innovation ideas and it is normal, but Google Maps like other applications full of various information are should be cleaned from inappropriate and useless images, reviews and wrong locations of places. I think the Local Guides should make more effort to achieve progress, I am Local Guide since 2014 and almost in every map objects I saw selfies or photos of some folk which for sure were taken in different places. As a perfectionist, of course, I reported to Google, but it is hard when you feel alone in solving this problem. I really do love Google Maps, it helped me hundred times and I have fun while editing application, but it makes me sad to see how some users are trying to gain extra points by uploading random pictures. I understand that it is hard to stop such kind of vandalism and probably it mostly done by underage profiles, maybe the scale of their harm may seem not so crucial for someone, but I am sure there would be guys like me who care and won’t be lazy to check if there is any inapplicable and leave a complaint.
As a suggestion, I come up with idea that maybe it will be proper if Google starts to reject images with human faces, it will make much easier to cope given issue, 'cause the huge percent of them consists directly of this type (for example, some photos shot at home which has nothing in common with places). It is in our hands to make our favorite and useful application better.
