Salad Farm is in Hachimantai, Iwate, renowned for APPI ski resort, and is providing various services with the concept, “A place for eating and healing”. They are selling Bentos, fresh foods in Hachimantai, and delicious desserts and holding many interesting events like an experience of horse riding, but this time I’ll introduce one of my favorite spots, the Petting Zoo.
There is a Petting Zoo in Salad Farm, we can enjoy petting bunnies, alpacas, and so forth. The Petting Zoo is next to the shop, so we can easily drop by there after shopping. My family LOVES bunnies and any animals, so this is a really nice place for us. Of course, foods are also awesome.

Other than them, there are dogs, sheep, ponies, fish, and so forth here. Go together with your family by all means.
By the way, Bentos of Salad Farm have been sold at Morioka station and some local grocery stores too. Boiled/poached eggs are also popular and delicious. When you come to Iwate pref, please look for them and try.
[Japanese] うさぎやアルパカに会いに行こう！サラダファーム
安比高原スキー場などで有名な岩手県八幡平市にあるサラダファームでは「食と癒やしの空間」をコンセプトにしたサービスを提供しています。お弁当や食材の販売、農業体験をはじめとしたイベントの開催なども非常に魅力的ですが、今回ご紹介するのは動物とのふれあいコーナーです。
サラダファーム内にはうさぎ、アルパカといった動物と触れ合うことのできるコーナーがあり、買い物に行ったついでに気軽に立ち寄ることができます。うちの家族はうさぎが大好きなので、こちらに立ち寄った際には必ずうさぎを見に行きます。
アルパカもふわふわでかわいいですね。見ているだけで癒やされます。
他にも犬、羊、ポニー、魚などを見ることもできますので、ぜひ家族で遊びに行ってみてください。
ちなみに、サラダファームさんのお弁当は盛岡駅などでも購入することが可能です。ゆでたまご、温泉卵も人気で県内の様々な場所で購入することができます。岩手にいらした際にはぜひ探してみてください。
