- In a recent case, where I have to take care of Google business of my office, I found out that most of the people who has reviewed or even kept a photo, is just to earn points. Is this really useful? People who have no idea and haven’t even visited our office are reviewing us and other companies, 1 star only without explaining any reason or giving feedback. Therefore, I came to research about these people and viewed third profile. I found that they have only reviewed and gave 1 star to all the other businesses. This is one of the most crucial topic that I wanted all of us to get aware of, and report these kind of spam users.
There are some really messed up humans on Connect and Maps.
It is terrible what these humans are doing ![]()
@Rukesh_Shahi This is really a serious concern. We are reviewing to help the world not to mislead and mess up others life and goals.
@Rukesh_Shahi @VBenedict Totally agree with you both. We should report such users.
Yes, I hope we report these spams and make Google Map a better place to trust.
@YogsatvaYoga Thanks for your concern, let’s make Google Map a better and trust worthy place.
@Rukesh_Shahi sure ![]()
How do you propose we do that when we report intellectual property theft Connect tries to force you to publish sensitive information via public post?
I continue to have my reviews, lists, and images disappear only to be falsely accused.
I happen to be recognized by majority, an outstanding, photographer, reviewer/writer who follows the rules to the letter.
When I post here on Connect my posts are obscured by design…etc. etc.
Hi @Rukesh_Shahi ,
Yes it´s true that is very important to make reviews with content and upload good quality photos. Google Maps is not a game for earning points…
BTW I have found your post searching for the ones with Spanish Label … I think that maybe you choosed this label by mistake because it isn’t written in Spanish
(don´t worry, sometimes happens …) You can edit by yourself or maybe the Google Moderator @JavieraAu could help us.
Greetings from the South of Spain,

Hi @Rukesh_Shahi ,
I would like to remind you that the Local Guides program is for unbiased individuals.Organizations, brands, and businesses are not eligible for the Program. If you facing an issue with your listing is better to address it here.
I will now send you a private message with instructions how to report said Local Guides. Also, I removed the Spanish language tag from your post as it is in English. Only posts written in a specific language should have the corresponding label. To learn more about this kind of labels I recommend taking a look at the article How do I find posts in my preferred language?.
I relabeled your post to How-tos, where you can ask questions or share tips for Local Guides who want to make more helpful contributions.
