I was traveling the sunshine state about three years ago, I was trying to plan my day when I came upon the Local Guide app on Google. I punched in happy hours spot in the Melbourne, Florida area to my delight many locals had done reviews of spots to get half price food and drinks. I was able to locate many of these place with Google Maps and off I went … I am am member of the Eagles Brother hood and American legion these place were included in the reviews … Not longer after that I received a request to post my own photos and reviews from local guide… Since then I have done over 180 reviews and my photos have been viewed over 50,000 times. I truly feel my inclusion in this years Local Guide connect will help me become a better and more thorough guide. Please consider me for the November convention and I look forward to meeting folks from all over the world!
