Today is International Waffle Day which is on March 25 and celebrates waffles with family, friends.
It was originally celebrated in Sweden but now eager stomachs all over the world embrace International Waffle Day.
The exact inventor of waffles is unknown, the practice of baking flat cakes between hot metal plates dates back to ancient Greece, and the first patent for a waffle iron was granted to Cornelius Swartwout in 1869.

There are many varieties of waffles such as Brussels waffles ,American waffles, flemish waffles, Belgian waffles,pandan waffles,hong kong waffles ,gofri ,hot dog waffles are the types of waffles.
At Kolhapur there is University area. In that area my favourite Kolhapur waffle shop is located which is very famous in University students.
He is taking time to preparing waffles and giving us with using chocolate cream ,vanilla cream. Which is very tasty and yummy. I like to help his local business.
