Hello, dear Nand Kishore, we all remember your great contributions and dedication to our LGs community, and express our gratitude for the same.

Hi, my dear friends,

Let us welcome back our “Meet-Up Hero” of Indian Local Guides (Mumbai) and Admin of many LG Social Media communities, during the era till 2019 - our dear Nand Kishore ( @NandKK ).

Similar to our All India Hero, @AmbrishVarshney , Nand also was very instrumental in popularising ‘Meet-ups’; also, he introduced and developed many LGs to our Connect Community. Of course, @TPattanaik @deepakjhic @JMD9 (and a few more - sorry, I’m not remembering all the names) were prominent leaders who led the Indian community forward. I am thankful to him and all the different LGs who helped me too to grow here.

I am publishing this post to inform the present LGs who know him and the newcomers who are not familiar; also, this is my humble effort to inspire more LGs to get engaged in our Connect-community, I am trying to recall seniors who are dormant.

Surely, I want to mention the name of our lead Admin @Shrut19 who took the tremendous lead in organising and running the very active Mumbai-Maharashtra LGs Group, including the LGs’ Female Group. Along with LG Nand, she also took a lot of initiative in organising different meet-ups in Mumbai.

Nand, Jashti_Sudhakar, Amol (from a post published by Nand on 13th March 2019 - Here).

Along with the senior LG @JeroenM , Nand took the initiative to create and Admin an LG’s international social media community, which was very successful.

I am sure that the Connect Moderators @StephenAbraham @JanVanHaver @Ermest @PaulPavlinovich and many others will remember him very well; also, many Google Moderators, including @DeniGu and Admin @TraciC will have warm regards for him.

Now, I request our dear Nand to tag your other friends to let them know that you are back and going to be very active.

I know him very well and we’ve been in many online meet-ups during and before COVID. Post COVID many of us got engaged in other activities.

It’s truly heartwarming to see my past efforts in organizing meetups acknowledged with such kindness and detail.

I extend my deepest apologies for my absence from our community. Life, as it does, presented its challenges, including COVID, and I found myself deeply entangled in personal and professional commitments.

I am thrilled and energized to be back. Moving forward, I will be committed to being actively involved both on Connect and in our community.

Once again, my heartfelt thanks for dedicating such an inspiring post to me.

Many of the very active LGs of 2017…2022…are dormant…

Trying my best… We cannot forget the great support they gave that time: of course, due to multiple reasons, many are away - I strongly believe that if we inspire them, at least a few of them will come back.
