Happy 6th Local Guides anniversary, to all my fellow LG’s.
On the coming 15th January, the Local Guides program is going to complete 6 awesome years of operation - let us celebrate the sixth anniversary globally. This is the first time we are going to celebrate the anniversary of the Local Guide program.
It is unbelievable, how the Local Guide program got started and became an important part of our daily lives - This is a matter of pride for us. We’re proud #LocalGuides, who love to help millions of people around the world with our contributions to Google Maps.
Today, I am going to share with you an idea - let’s all get together and celebrate this wonderful 6th Anniversary. Let us express our love for the Local Guide program.
So let’s add quality contributions to Google Maps as well as host meet-ups to share the skills we’ve acquired over the past years. Let’s show our support and love by organizing Worldwide Meet-ups to celebrate the month-long #LocalGuides anniversary (Meet-ups to be held from 5th January 2021 to 31st January 2021).
There are many ways we can contribute to this anniversary celebration, and here are some of them:

❖ Virtual meet-ups (Share your experience and knowledge about Local guides program with your community. Tips for hosting virtual meet-ups)
