Let me show you the world through my eyes

Becoming a Local Guide it’s been a recent thing for me, I had a “not so good experience” at a hotel I booked that I wanted to warn people of what happened to me so they could think twice before booking there, at the time I was so scared that I didn’t had the time to take pictures. Maybe it’s not a good review for the business (I hope they have improved what was wrong) but I wrote it in order to help others. I consider myself as a very competitive person and when I saw I got points by writing a review it was fun for me, like it was some sort of game and the good thing is that you could help people by doing it.

Although becoming a Local Guide it’s been a recent thing for me, being a photographer or taking pictures is something I’ve been doing for about ten years. So I guess Google and I, are making a perfect match, also last year I decided it was going to be a year to travel. I not only did a bunch of roadtrips inside my beloved Guatemala, but also made my first trip all by myself to Los Angeles, California. So I guess that with that spirit of adventure that gives me the impulse to travel, my camera that is always with me and this amazing community, I have the opportunity to show the world through my eyes. In this past year I had the chance to meet so many new people and places and cultures, and also contribute to this community.

For me, photography is one of my passions. I always try to bring my camera to every place I go, and when I can’t I use my phone, but every single picture that I take, I try to give my best in order to make it look the best way possible. Perhaps I’m not so good at social media, so the reach of my content is not too high, but thanks to this community I’m able to post my pictures and thousands of people can see them, and that just feels me with joy. Sometimes when I’m having a really good time I forget to take pictures (my bad), but through text I give my best to give all the details of every place I visit. With every trip I make, every place I visit, every picture I take, I’m helping from the smallest business to the biggest one, a person who lives in my neighborhood or someone who lives in the other side of the world and will visit one of the places I reviewed, like it said in one of the posts I read “every contribution matters”.

Every day is a new opportunity to discover the world, join me in this adventure.
