Calling Lego Photographers! Let’s get together to take pictures of our favorite minifigures at beautiful locations around Calgary and post them onto Google Maps! The places I am thinking of include: -The public art sculpture near the YMCA at Rocky Ridge -Murals at the Beltline -Wonderland Sculpture I’m open to other suggestions! Location: I’ve set the location for the Wonderland Sculpture for now. We can change it if needed. What to bring: -minifigures + accessories -camera -tripod (optional) Thanks and see you there!
@KatyaL Thanks! I’m getting excited! There are actually a lot of Lego enthusiasts who take photos with them and we need more of that representation on Maps!
This photo taken at Prygi village, Chios Greece. Sure, you can use my photo by giving the credit. You can either follow me and my bf’s (he is a huge fan of Lego) Instagram accounts. @11pasteleven@n.ggle. I’m glad you loved it.
Thanks @Shirley I wish I could come @Oscar_Kwok minime and I will be there in spirit. I look forward to the outcome. I attended a lego walk last year it was awesome fun. Everyone brought mini figures and other toys to make scenes with. We didn’t get far because minifigures can’t cover much distance.
I think a Local Guides Lego Meetup could be great fun @Oscar_Kwok I’ve not ever organised one formally but I’ve nearly always got it with you and so many of the people who come on my Meetups bring theirs too :).
@PaulPavlinovich Yea you should try it out sometime. The one I tried to organize was not as successful but if you did it I’m sure you could get a lot of people excited!
Oh yes, definitely let me know if you head to Vancouver @Oscar_Kwok !!!
Especially if you enjoy food, we can find lots of places to eat and then wander through the city to take some photos too! I’ll bring out my little swimmer!!
