Leftover veggies wrap (p.c sudakshina Ray) ray

hi every one hope all are staying back at home and doing their bit against fighting coronavirus pendamic. Off lately I have start cooking to feed myself (I know sounds cliche :joy: ) to kill time and take out work from home frustration as well

Today for lunch I made sort of wrap with leftover veggies and white pasta of yesterday dinner :joy:

Jugaad pasta veggie wrap receipe

  • 1 chapati of maida or any available flour
  • Veggies like red and yellow bell pepper
  • Slightly mashed patatoes
  • Crumb led egg or shredded chicken or paneer cubes
  • Mushrooms stir fried
  • White sauce pasta
  • For dressing rock salt,
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Cut olives and olive oil
  • Lemon
  • For preparing wrap just add all the above mentioned ingredients on the top of the chapati and put some olive oil on non sticky pan and slightly heat it and bam veggie wrap is ready to eat
  • Just to add some drama and colour to your dish and for nice photography garnish it with cut mint or coriander leaves and in the side of the plate place any available chutney or sauce or ketchup

Hahahaha welcome to the club!

@Shabnamarif leftover veggies can turn into different kind of dishes with just few changes that’s the best part :yum:

I usually make leftover masala Chapati or fry them for some crunch, even we can roast it for more time and make a khakhra

HHey now I m recognizing the power of inventing new dishes out of few bare essentials available.

I wil definitely try khakra. Can you share its recipe. I don’t believe in traditional cooking I like functional cooking more as its easy to make for working bachelor girl like me staying away from family with limited available ingredients in the kitchen

@Shabnamarif sure dear

You just have to place the Chapati on tawa and keep roasting until it’s crisp keep changing its sides you can top it with salt and pepper or chilly powder

For masala Chapati:-

You can cut the pieces of Chapati

Put 1 table spoon oil /ghee

Add jeera, curry leaves ( if available)

Chopped onions (fry till golden brown)

Add the Chapati pieces

Add spices of your choice (turmeric, garam masala or any kind of masala ) you can just flavour it with garlic and ginger if nothing is available
