While growing up, I always wanted to be a traveler and wondered how I can do that despite being kind of a control freak. In my earlier travels I would have to spend days or weeks just to plan a perfect holiday and despite that sometimes I would have unwelcome surprises which changed the whole travel plan. Not anymore because of Google local guides. Ever since I got redirected to google maps I have been using it daily. I don’t even remember how and when it happened - maybe it’s like true love. Lol
As a user of google maps I love to find out what people experience about a place in totality. Pictures though easy to look at (compared to reading reviews) aren’t enough. I love what people expected before going there and their realization after visiting the place - which is a make or break deal because appearances deceive and so do only photographs.
Being a language student and I love talking about my experiences. Google reviews are just the place where I write my experience of a place as it happened. Sometimes it may be detailed than others, mostly in the case of disappointment, but nevertheless it creates awareness among people about the place and helps them adjust their expectations accordingly. I also love writing about exceptional experiences because people need to know about less known but very unique places. I love providing photographs but traveling with a toddler doesn’t make it easy for you to be able take good quality photographs that can be shared. Though I love to do that and trying to learn how to mange that so I can share the best pictures of the place.
