This is a photo of the Leaf River railroad bridge that was recently replaced after over 100 years of operation. The Leaf river separates the two cities of Hattiesburg and Petal and this bridge, among others, span the distance of that gap between the sister cities. One of the most popular places to go around the Fourth of July in this area is the River parks on either side of this river for the annual Star Spangled Celebration on the river.
