Leading the foodies to right places

Unlike the lucky ones who find their passion very early in their life and are pretty much clear about what they want to do, I figured it very late or should I say I discovered it very late. It was in there for a long time. I was very fond of food since my childhood but took a while to understand that it’s more than ‘fond,’ I loved food. My love for food was a reflection of my place, Hyderabad, India, where I live. People celebrate food here.

Fortunately or unfortunately, the urbanization caused too many food places to pop up, and lately, it’s becoming quite a challenge to get the ethnicity of what Hyderabad can offer. I am a big fan of our culture, but too many chefs (who ain’t aware of the culture) definitely are spoiling the broth. Like many of us, I turned to the internet, because reviews are the new standard of Trust! Found out that most of the reviews were a vent for the storm of emotions. Reviews are not opinions; they are a responsibility. They leave an impact that’s beyond the intention of creating it. They’ve got to be honest - mostly based on our experience and not our emotions.

I wanted to direct people in the right way that is beyond emotions or promotions. Take those people, who are genuinely looking for the right suggestion, to the right place - because a picture is worth a thousand words. I started posting the images of the best food places in and around Hyderabad - food that I fell in love with, food that filled my inner voidness, food that brought me joy, and food that took me to history. And without surprise, people started connecting with my thoughts, thanked me for my share. I am glad that my passion is helping my fellow ‘food-mates’. That’s my love for food, and I’m proud of my passion. I understand my responsibility and will continue doing what started as an innocent act.
