Today stats are working properly, so I’ve updated the official figures of my star-photo (76.638 views) on my reply to your post.
One question, please: I was wondering if a similar replly could be written in Spanish, as I would like to encourage others to come up with their insights.
Hi @SonjaPerera , I actually thought that your original “star views” of 75,500 was too round a figure to be believable so thank you for updating and also adding a screenshot of your star photo showing the star views. I will update your stats on the next update. Regarding your Spanish question, I’m happy to do this for you but which reply would you like to be translated?
Thanks for joining in and for your screenshots @Immehedi_hasan . Would you please be kind enough to supply all the information asked for (Steps 1 to 9). Please do this as soon as you can so that you can be included in the next update.
First of all, I completely agree with your last comment. I fhink that it encourages local guides to try and improve their photo performance, maybe go for another perspective. I definitely have learned a lot by following your post for the past week or so.
Another aspect that really matters to me is never to take any close up photos of other people in order not to violate their privacy rights. That is something I consider whenever I post a photo. Well, I just wanted to add that somewhere in this interesting discussion.
About Spanish: it’s just that I’m to write some friends to contribute on your post, and maybe writing in Spanish would encourage them to do so.
FYI: I have already requested my sister @MamenPerera to write about her star-picture. She’s very bussy, I’m afraid. But hopefully she will find a slot on her agenda. Her English is very good and she’s got an awesome strategic vision.
No actually there are more tables (anyway not so many in total) but the rooms are small, and in that one there were just those 2. Btw it was a very good one, we picked it up for its high rating.
Thanks for your positive comment and for submitting details about your star photo Al Rugaib Furniture. Would you please be kind enough to take a few minutes to re-read the submission requirements and edit your reply along those lines. Just follow the 9 simple steps. I hope you can do this before the next update so we can include you in that update.
It is: a picture of my garden actually my kids are playing and my husband is watching them on the back I used the picture to illustrate the service of a local commerce close to my house, its a nursery garden where they grow and sell all type of flowers and trees, and they also design gardens. Since they designed mine, I thought it could be a good sample to show their work. Actually my co-star photo (2nd) is also another part of the garden, the swimming pool, that they also designed
I took/uploaded this photo on: I took the photo on May 6th 2018, Mothers’ day in Spain (Source: Date of picture on iPhone) and upload it in March 2019 (Source: Google Maps)
Is it my best photo? I only have 57 pictures uploaded, and I guess some of them can be more beautiful ( a hidden beach club or a cabin in a tree in Thailand) but I really like this one, I don’t want them to grow :-).
Why do I think it’s my “star photo”? I created the place in Google Maps , it didn’t existed then. And my pictures where the first two, and still the only ones :))) So, I guess this is the reason. People in my area look for a place to buy trees and flowers and find the place and its two pictures
I think the important factors that contribute to making a top photo are:
(a) Creation of a new place (this is a place that everybody in the area knows about, but was not listed)
(b) Popular service in the area (in my case, people look for trees and flowers for their garden)
(c) It could be that they have people in the picture.
