Laxapana Falls

Laxapana Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in Sri Lanka, located in the Nuwara Eliya District. It stands at a height of approximately 126 meters (413 feet) and is renowned for its stunning beauty. The waterfall is situated in the scenic surroundings of the lush green forests and hills of the central highlands, making it a popular spot for nature lovers and tourists. Laxapana Falls is fed by the Maskeliya Oya, a river that originates from the surrounding mountains. The waterfall is also part of a series of other impressive falls in the region, contributing to the natural beauty of Sri Lanka’s hill country.

Looks amazing indeed @wmigbgayan - but it also proves again how difficult it is to capture in a picture the real experience of being there. I never would have guessed from the photo that it is 126 meter high!

I haven’t seen a waterfall yet but I wish I could be able to see one day. @wmigbgayan

@Shaunak Come to Sri Lanka.

Sure will come one day. In India also there are lots of waterfalls but I have to seriously plan a tour for it :grin:
