Last year I joined MUN 2 in Jogjakarta Indonesia. MUN 2 is Meet Up Nusantara 2 where all the Indonesian Local Guides meet up. The program was so interesting and inspiring. Actually I was very happy that I could join the MUN 2 but then I realize that I was alone. I have no friends there. It doesn’t mean that I was lonely, No, I am not. But as a Lamongan Local Guide I have no friend who come from lamongan too to join the MUN 2. Lamongan is a small city in East Java, Indonesia. It is not far from Surabaya, the capital city of East Java.
After joined that program, I always think about Local Guide Community, I really want to have such a community like that in my city. I imagine that I can share, I can make many activities with them. Then I remember that some bloggers also stay in Lamongan and they are actually a local guide too. They always make a review wherever the blogger’s event take place. And I am very excited when they are agree to make Lamongan Local Guide.
After discussing with some of my friend about the community, then we decide to launch the Lamongan Local Guide in March 14, 2019. We launch the LLG in Taman Baca Alun-alun Lamongan. Taman Baca is a place for children to read. I am very happy that at last I can have this community. I hope I can participate in the next MUN 3 with them
We have done some programs, like meet up and have discussion with all the member of LLG. The next meet up we have plan to do a food crawl or geo walk. We want to promote our beloved city so everyone will know about Lamongan well. And surprisingly, what we have done is published in the local newspaper in East Java. So I am really proud of it. I hope Lamongan Local Guide will be popular in our city and many people will join it. I hope so. Thank you.
