Laughter Mics and Shows

In Las Vegas there is always something to do. Almost every night there are two or three comedy open mics, along with at least 10 comedy shows that you can choose from.

I’m a Standup Comedian who has performed in California for 4 years and have lived in Las Vegas for the last two years where I have performed at Jokester’s, Rick’s Smokin’ BBQ, Charlie’s Down Under, LIT, LV Comedy Institute and Hypnomania and a lot of open mics.

One of the things I love about being a Google Guide is that I can post reviews and photos of venues that have comedy. Some of these are little known to visitors. By posting the photos and reviews, it brings visitors to those spots which may be comedy shows or open mics, where the visitor can get up and try their hand at being funny. Being a guide gives me the opportunity to help not only promote comedians, but help others find the healing and fun that comes with laughter!

I post pictures and reviews of the venues that I attend, such as the Comedy Cellar, Laugh Stop, Jimmy Kimmel’s comedy, Brad Garrett Comedy, Aces at Mirage, and many others.

At this time, Las Vegas is shut down, which seems like something out of a sci-fi movie, so that means all the comedy venues and entertainment venues here are under mandatory closure. It also means that comedians are out of work. Some of them had contracts to perform months in advance. That means their income is impacted for a long time to come.

As soon as Vegas is up again, which I suspect will be in a short time, I will be posting reviews and photos again so that people can find laughter here in Vegas. Standup Comedy is NOT an easy thing to do. These joke craftsman have taken many years to develop their craft. Making an audience laugh is the ultimate challenge.
