Latino Owned Businesses attribute on Google Maps

Following updates and new information of Google Maps on internet sites and social media when I can, is that I found an attribute ( new at least for me  )for businesses that really catches my attention.

I don’t know for sure since when, but I saw that businesses can be identified as Latino owners. Anyway, another wise attribute as Black Owned and Women Owned Businesses.

I thought it was something very successful and useful, and I think if I’m not wrong it is only enabled precisely for non-Latin regions.

Some examples :

Flor de Jade Shop

Mí Vida Strings

Cultura Chocolate

Once again Google making the map more and more inclusive for everyone.

What do you think?

Great catch, @SebaasC .

I do agree with you about the fact that, in an initial step, this can be important for inclusion.

On the other side, I think in a more inclusive future, where everyone has equal rights, this kind of label can be interpreted in the opposite way.

Thanks Ermes.

I can’t be more agree with you.

First step really very important for inclusion.

Future, same rights for every human being on the planet.

A big hug.
