Lathkill Dale in the Peak District

I visited Lathkill Dale in the Peak District. It is an amazing place full of old lead mines and waterfalls. The mines are mostly blocked up and sealed, but there is one that is open to the public.

There are quite a few nice waterfalls in the area. When I first visited last year, they were dried up because we had a really hot heatwave, but we have had a lot of rain since then, so they were flowing strong with water.

The terrain can be difficult to walk on, as most are rocky paths with small hills. The area is popular with photographers, hikers, birdwatchers, and dog walkers.

When hiking there, I have seen a few different types of birds. I am not sure what they were; they looked like eagles, but I am not sure. I would have loved to spend more time there, but the hike takes a while. It is around 4 miles long, but it seems to take a long time to hike. I think it is because of the rocky terrain.
