LAS FALLAS FESTIVAL - Valencia, Spain.

Years ago I found myself in this wonderful festival by accident and promised myself to take the children when they grew up. I went back there last year with my two daughters for four days of madness.
Once a year, at the beginning of March, world order changes in the city of Valencia in Spain. Nights later become a comic, sensual, colorful and wild festival of music, alcohol, dancing, flowers, colorful parades, colorful costumes, giant bonfires, fireworks; And mainly - fire and noise. Lots of fire and lots of noise.

The best way to enjoy the festival is to give yourself up; To leave behind all the fears, inhibitions and inhibitions and to drift with the happy crowd from square to square, in an endless chain of events, on streets crowded with hundreds of giant grotesque dolls, creating a new world created specifically for the festival week, These are amazing pieces of art - gigantic, colorful paper puppets designed and built meticulously for a year by the best caricaturists and plastic artists in Valencia. The Pais expresses - usually comically, grotesque and satirical - political, social and economic events that occupied the residents of the past year. And on the last day of the festival they are burned, one by one, in a stormy bonfire all over the city.
