Largest TYPHOON in last 25 years is coming straight to Kyoto

Summer is a typhoon season and largest TYPHOON (Central pressure 950hpa, Maximum instantaneous wind speed 60km/h)in last 25 years is coming straight to Kyoto, today.
Schools(Nursery school, kindergarten, elementary to high school) ware shutdown from starting. and railways are operation irregular or suspended due to prevent trouble.

Fortunately, as the center of the typhoon is heading to Kyoto, the damage of the typhoon seems to be not so bad.
(Because the rain and wind are stronger on the right side of the typhoon’s direction of travel) Even so, I pray that the damage of typhoons will be reduced in any area, not limited to Kyoto.

Hi @Ivi_Ge , thank you for replay and nice to meet you.

Typhoon Jebi is leaving from Kyoto.
Wind is still quite strong, but heavy rain had stopped.

@backy0175L Nice to meet you. I hope all of you are doing well.

時節柄ご自愛ください。

Typhoon Jabi was gone from Kyoto. But some damage was occurred. :-<

But this is nice educational case for my children. Because they learned some phenomenon of weather by following video before and they experienced real typhoon weather occurred.

JEBI attacked my town!

JEBI is the huge typhoon(No.21). It was so terrible. I could survive.

I hope other Japanese localguides are all safe.

Hello @user_not_found ,

I hope you are doing well and safe. We wish everyone the best in Japan. To help keep the conversation in a single place so others may easily find the information they need, we are merging your discussion into this post - Largest TYPHOON in last 25 years is coming straight to Kyoto.

Thanks.

Thanks @Ivi_Ge for merging the post to the right place. @backy0175L is one of the most motivated localguides in Japan. It’s a great honor.

てなワケで、バッキーさんもご無事で何よりでしたね。あ、その前にお久しぶりです。目の前にトタン屋根が落ちてきたときは、死ぬかと思いましたが、前回、大阪北部の地震同様に、しぶとく生き延びました。

@user_not_found さん、ご無沙汰してます。
