In Lahore fort There are a big wall situated It is the largest picture wall of the World It has more than 2500 pictures made by fresco work It is also the part of world Heritage.
By the time this wall is in very bad condition Now the authorities conserving it with the help of UNESCO The Management of Lahore fort arranged a Photo walk to show its conservation work I also found this chance to visit this Marvelous Masterpiece of art
and I was very happy to see its conservation although the process is very slow but at least it is being preserved at its original state.
It was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar almost 400 years ago, the picture wall was later enlarged by Jahangir and then Shah Jahan completed it in 1631-32 AD. It means three Mughal emperors take part in its construction.
The total length of the picture wall is 1,450 feet and 50-70 feet high,whereas the western side which is conserved is 350 feet long and 50 feet high with 635, decorated recessed panels composed on three levels.
This majestic wall is festooned with tile mosaics, brick imitation work,fresco and cut and dressed brick work.

@Muhammad_Usman , I did not realize Lahore is that close to India. I think of the Mughal Empire as being in India and the Taj Mahal. How is it to live with all this great art all around your city?

Actually mughal Empire consists of On all India and Pakistan land there are so many Buildings are identical such as Laal Qila Dehli and Shahi Qila lahore or Badshahi mosque in Lahore and and Badshahi mosque in Delhi or if you want to see more masterpiece by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan who make Taj mahal I Have written two posts about ShahJahan Mosque and Masjid Wazir Khan Mosque where I made my Video for connect live 2020.

Thanks for sharing these pictures with us! It is a beautiful monument and I am very happy to know that the institutions are working to preserve and protect it. It must have been a splendor during the days of the empire. Do you have pictures of the inner complex? I have read there are museums you can visit inside.

Yes you are right @Giu_DiB there are three museums and fort consists of Constructions of 4 emperors during 1500 AD to 1800 AD . I will right 4 or 5 posts more in future , but unfortunately my all data is in office and I am in my home due to lock down even then I have write so for 3 posts 1 you have read and other 2 is here
