TO GET TO EMERALD BAY (20 MINUTES GOING UP FROM TAHOE CITY FOLLOW THE CALIFORNIA SIDE OF THE LAKE, THERE IS A SMALL PARKING LOT JUST AT EMERALD BAY, TAKE YOUR TIME ENJOY AND BREATHE THE LIFE THE GIFT OF BEING AT THE PRESENT).

I always think california is a warm place without the snow, I don’t know why, maybe because its close to nevada…thanks for sharing photos and info, you make me think I need to study some geography or I need to plan a trip in California. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@El_Lemus Lake Tahoe is certainly a beautiful spot and even in that crowded carefully manicured landscape you can find some wilderness if you try hard enough and are willing to go for a walk or kayak. I kayaked the lake last time I was up there and it was a lot of fun.
