Somethings to know about Lake Ontario,
1. Ontario means Great lake, sparkling lake and so on…
The Province was named after the lake not the lake after province.
2. Lake Ontario lies between two countries the USA and Canada.
3. It’s not cold enough to freeze over, though. Due to its depth and size, the last time Lake Ontario fully froze was in 1934.
4. There are over 100 beaches on Lake Ontario, including Sandbanks Provincial Park.
