Ladakh Road 2 Where the rivers Zankar and Indus meets

Last year, in May I had a good trip in Ladakh India. A trip with unforgettable memories, as we pass passes over 4000 m high, dreamy valleys and roads with beautiful landscapes. Today I would like to introduce an impressive point on this road, which is where the Zankar and Indus rivers meet. We were really lucky when the glaciers started melting this season and made the Zankar water green and the Indus water dark blue. A wonderful color scheme of nature will surprise everyone.
There are many interesting tourist activities here. You can go rafting along the Zankar river to visit Nimo village or visit the mysterious magnet hill.

@Robert24 Thank you for your reply, I agree with you that we need to protect our earth especially against climate change

Hi @Thai_Ngh

Thank you for sharing. That place looks stunning and the scenery is beautiful. Where did you take the shot from? Was this your first time visiting this place? Is that a road on the left side?

It’s probably really pretty driving pass this. Did you try rafting? What else can you do there? Are the activities expensive to try?

Hi @DanniS , I’ve there in May last year, it was very interesting 10 days trip in Kashmir India and I’ve been there first time. We had little time so we just only stoped on the road and took some quick shots. On the left side is a road following Indus River. I didn’t try rafting. There were so many breathtaking sceneries by the road. Landscape photography is my hobby, so I focused mainly to take as much photos as I could. I would like to post these trip more detail later.

Thank you for you attention.
