La Fortuna is a place in the north of Costa Rica, a country in Central America, famous for its hot springs, tourism and the Arenal volcano. Visiting Fortuna is basically a must if you visit Costa Rica
Being a very touristy place, La Fortuna offers a lot of options to have a good time, in my case I love the hot springs, but it offers other options such as guided tours, rental of ATVs, and delicious food. In the case of food, I think it is very important since most places to eat are local businesses.
Since I mentioned before that I love hot springs, I would like to talk a little more about them, there are many hot springs in La Fortuna, therefore there is a wide range of prices for tickets, starting at 10 USD to the most luxurious places where it can reach about 80 USD. For example Kalambu Hot Springs is around 10 USD per person, while Baldi Hot Springs is 78 USD per person, however both places have different business approaches.
