One of the most beautiful and warmest restaurant I have been visited, last month I had a chance to try La Creperie restaurant in Beirut - Lebanon, the restaurant called La Creperie because it established serving crepe but later it serve lebanese and western foods I think it’s close to the french style food even the menu in French language.
HISTORY (I copied it from restaurant website)
Founded in 1968, family-owned restaurant La Crêperie—in Lebanon’s stunning coastal resort of Jounieh—reopened on 28th April, 2015 after three years of extensive renovations, unveiling its impressive new décor and extensive menu of fresh Mediterranean fare.
In the same spirit as the original restaurant, the neo-classical house, perched on the hilltop overlooking the deep blue waters of Jounieh Bay, plays host to the freshly revamped La Crêperie, serving sun-drenched dishes and a wide range of sweet and savory crêpes.
Initially established by the El Khazen family after a holiday to France in the sixties, La Crêperie was the first restaurant in Lebanon to serve classic crêpes, French-style seafood platters and Provençale fare. Set in a 19th-century cliff-top house passed from generation to generation since the 1800s and previously the family’s home, this iconic restaurant is part of Lebanese collective memory—with tales of romantic dates and nascent love stories being part of its very foundations.
